Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing StackShield. We strive to provide the best experience possible for our users. Please read our policy regarding cancellations and refunds carefully.
1. Subscription Billing and Cancellations
StackShield operates on a subscription-based model. You are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you select.
Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time directly through your account dashboard.
Effect of Cancellation: Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active, and you will retain full access to all paid features until the end of your current billing cycle. No further recurring charges will be applied.
2. No Refunds (All Sales Are Final)
Except as explicitly required by applicable law, all payments made to StackShield are non-refundable.
We do not offer pro-rated refunds or credits for partial months of service, downgraded plans, or unused time on an active subscription.
To prevent being charged for your next billing period, please ensure you cancel your subscription before your automatic renewal date.
3. Regional Exceptions (EU & UK Customers)
If you reside in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory local consumer protection laws, you may be entitled to a refund under specific circumstances:
Right of Withdrawal: Under EU/UK consumer law, you have a right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of your initial purchase.
Waiver of Right: Please note that when you purchase a digital subscription and immediately access or utilize the StackShield services, you explicitly consent to the immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
We value our community and understand that unique situations can happen. If you believe your account was billed in error due to a technical glitch or system malfunction on our end, please reach out to our support team within 30 days of the charge. We review these rare instances on a case-by-case basis.
